Jesus – better than religion

Most people in the world realise that we are more than just a collection of atoms; that we are spiritual beings. Many try to acknowledge this through ‘religion’ – angels, men in robes, rituals and good deeds done to earn God’s acceptance. The writer to the Hebrews though tells us that Jesus is better than religion. He is all that we need.

We welcome Rick Zylstra, former Pastor at PRC Wangaratta and WPC Buderim, for a series at Kallangur Bible Talks on the book of Ruth. While a small book, this narrative of God’s dealings with an individual family during the times of the judges provides an amazing story of being lost and outside the kingdom of God, of redemption, salvation, and the workings of God’s providence to bring about His purposes for great good.
